With the SavageMan 20.0 Sprint Triathlon, SavageMan 30.0 International Triathlon, and SavageMan 70.0 Half-Ironman Triathlon to choose from, an appropriate race exists for everyone from the cautious novice to the experienced Ironman. But, what if one race is not enough? What about the triathlete who cannot get enough SavageMan and wants to race more than just a single race?
Well, however you want it, we’ve got you covered with the SavageMan Combination Triathlons. Want to race both the SavageMan 20.0 and 30.0 on Saturday, but nothing on Sunday? Yup, we got it – the SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR Triathlon. Want to race just one of the two races on Saturday and the SavageMan 70.0 on Sunday? Yup, we got it -the SavageMan 90.0 and 100.0 Combination Triathlons. Want to race each and every inch possible over the entire SavageMan Triathlon Festival Weekend? Yup, we have that too – the SavageMan 120.0 Combination.
All racers who participate in any of the SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR, 90.0, 100.0, or 120.0 Combination Triathlon compete in each of the composite races individually, and are timed and eligible for awards in the age group category of each race individually. Top 3 Overall Awards for cumulative time are given for all Combination Triathlons, and $2700 in prize money is available to those racing the 50.0.
SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR Triathlon
The SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR Triathlon is a consecutive racing of the SavageMan 20.0 and the SavageMan 30.0 triathlons in a consecutive sbr-sbr format that is unique in all of triathlon. After a SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR racer crosses the finish line of the the SavageMan 20.0, he or she will continue racing and run directly to the swim start to dive in and begin the swim for the second race, the SavageMan 30.0.
The SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR will kick off the SavageMan Triathlon Festival Weekend with a dedicated swim wave. While the SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR racers are in the water and off on the bike, the entirety of the SavageMan 20.0 and then the SavageMan 30.0 fields will start their races in waves. Then, when the SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR racers cross the finish line of their first race, the SavageMan 20.0, they will continue racing directly to the swim start and individually begin their SavageMan 30.0 race.
SavageMan 50.0 Logistics
SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR racers have a T3 transition to consider as they transition between the run finish and the second swim start. After finishing the 20.0 event, athletes will run along a dedicated chute back to the transition area where they will gear up for the 30.0. Once they have their goggles, wetsuit (optional) and swim cap they’ll run back to the beach to start their next race. The T3 is timed and adds to their time for the overall 50.0 competition, it is not included in the times for the 20.0 or the 30.0.
SavageMan 50.0 SBR-SBR racers are eligible for overall and age group awards in each of the SavageMan 20.0 and SavageMan 30.0 races as well as overall awards in the SavageMan 50.0. While there are not AG awards for the SavageMan 50.0, there is prize money for the Top 3 Men/Women as well as copious bragging rights.

- SavageMan 50.0 Overall Prize Money: 1st – $500, 2nd – $400, 3rd – $300
SavageMan 90, 100, and 120 Triathlons
The SavageMan 90.0, 100.0, and 120.0 Combination Triathlons consist of Sunday’s SavageMan 70.0 and one or both of Saturday’s SavageMan 20.0 or 30.0 Triathlons.
SavageMan 90.0, 100.0, and 120.0 Combination Triathlon racers are eligible for age group awards in each of the SavageMan 20.0, 30.0, and 70.0 Triathlons as well as overall awards in the SavageMan 90.0, 100.0, or 120.0 Combination Triathlon. All finishers of a Combination Triathlon that include the SavageMan 70.0 Triathlon will receive a special award for their accomplishment on Sunday at the awards ceremony.
Prize money will be awarded to the Top 3 Male/Female Overall in the SavageMan 120.0 Combination Triathlon.
